It has a 3.6” polygonal rifled barrel and houses a single-stack magazine that holds seven or eight rounds. The P9 operates as a trigger cocking DAO with "Browning - type" recoil lug; passive striker block, and there is no magazine disconnect. It is only 5.8 inches overall, weighs 15 ounces, and has a slide width of .90 inches. The magazine weighs 1.9 ounces.
