The finish is perfect and though cycled I don't believe that it has ever been fired except for factory testing. The box is serial numbered to the Revolver, it has all of the factory paperwork as well as the sealed factory tool pouch with all of the tools. The NIB 2 inch Model 12 has now become one of the most difficult S&W revolvers to obtain today. One that is is 52 years is just that much to find.
