This is an 1892 Rifle made in 1901. It has a 24" octagon barrel, full magazine and is in .38WCF (.38-40). It has faded blue turning to patina on barrel, but almost no original finish on the receiver. Stocks are sound, with some staining and two deep dings - one on the right side of the butt stock 2" forward of the butt plate, and one on the right front of the fore stock, about 1.5" back from the fore end cap. Mechanically the gun is in very good condition, with an extremely good bore. All parts and sights are original and of correct vintage.
