Looks to be a WALNUT STOCK, not hardwood. The only thing I did, was Wipe it off, for it has been in my attic for years. Completely ALL ORIGINAL. The HANG TAG is still on the trigger guard. The box is in Very good shape and has the Original REMINGTON TAPE on the box. I am looking for a 6.5 Rem Mag. In a Remington Make,(NOT A GUIDE GUN).
