It has only moderate wear, and the wood is outstanding. There is some flaking to the chrome plated floorplate / carrier, but that is the only conspicuous detraction, and at least it has a chrome floorplate, we say. We rate this shotgun at 90 percent, or close to it. Note the nice nostalgic purplish hue to the barrel’s magazine lug and even the barrel itself. Specks in the closeup shots are lint and sparse powder residue, certainly not rust or toning; and the right side dark woodgrain streak is exactly that, not a crack.
