The wood looks like walnut but I'm not positive if it is. What ever it is it has nice grain and color. It has only a couple of coats of linseed oil on it at this time but I can seal it with a coat of polyurethane if who ever buys it would want it that way. The support bracket that goes in the shoulder stock groove holding the pistol is chrome plated. The screw head is fire blue and the escutcheon is polished brass.
