These barrels bear their original Parker Overload proofs and have additionally been nitro proofed in Birmingham England where they were also marked "SLEEVED". The work done in England is exceptional! These barrels featured 2 3/4" chambers. Top and bottom ribs are original and properly marked. The barrels retain about 85% good quality blue finish with one small area of loss on the right side chamber end. The action with typical grade 2 engraving retains 85% restored color case hardened finish which is fading slightly and showing some scattered fine, light pitting beneath finish. The highly figured checkered pistol grip walnut buttstock is an excellent quality replacement, the splinter forend is original. The buttstock rates excellent plus to near mint, the forend is very good. Shotgun has a 14 1/4" length of pull with drops of 1 3/8" and 2 3/8". A good solid 20 bore Parker; an excellent bird gun.
