Description:
A pair of Remington .41 Rimfire, Over/Under derringers. One derringer is a Type II, marked "Remington Arms Co. Ilion, N.Y.", on the top of the barrel rib, nickel plated with pearl grips. The second derringer is a Type III, marked "Remington Arms-U.M.C., Ilion, N.Y.", nickel plated, pearl grips. Includes is a custom made wood display box and 10 .41 Rimfire cartridges.
We are unable to determine if the finish is original or if they have been re-nickled. No pitting noted on either gun and the finish does appear original, however it cannot be positively determined.
The pearl grips were custom made for these guns and are NOT original to either.
