This five shot wheel gun has a 6.5” barrel with a shiny bore and wood stocks. The bore is in great condition with no visible pitting at all which is a surprise. The blueing shows wear, light scratches and freckling over most of the exterior surfaces. The brass trigger guard show tarnish and the stocks show light scratches and light dings in the wood but are free from chips or cracks. The .36 caliber percussion revolvers were produced between 1 with an estimated 25,000 units manufactured. From 1 some of these revolvers were converted to .38 rimfire by Remington.
