This is the Beretta 3032 compact auto chambered in the highly effective .32 ACP caliber. The beauty thing, as our photographer says, about the Tomcat is its flip-up barrel design. A person need not be a milkmaid or milk man to operate the slide. A person doesn't have to; indeed, a person should not manually operate the slide because that is the way to disassemble this pistol, not a problem; but a person will have to read the instruction manual to get it back together. This pistol, like its smaller siblings the 950 and 21, loads and unloads by flipping up the barrel with the lever on the left side of the frame. Factory specs are single- and double-action semi-auto pistol; caliber .32 ACP; barrel length 2.4 inches; capacity 7 + 1; frame mounted safety for right-handed shooters only; weight 15.8 oz empty; durable non-glare matte blue finish wish matte anodized alloy frame. Even though the Tomcat is a relatively recent phenomenon, it is thoroughly traditional Beretta with a comfortable feel and balance second to nobody in this industry.
