Here is an excellent buy on 500 rounds of 7.62x39 Russian Ammunition with one of the most desirable Chinese Rifles to shoot it in. We were not paying much attention to SKS Rifles in 1999, and let the few there were of these slip by us. This is a specially configured Norinco China SKS Rifle in the 16 1/2 inch barrel. Box labels on these read Parka-Para at one point. All metal parts are parkerized, very slick and weather- and wear-resistant finish; and the stock and gas tube cover are traditional Olive Drab Green military colored. Buttstock length of pull is 14 inches, with 3/4 inch thick buttpad. Sights are traditional SKS calibrated leaf rear with adjustable post front encased in its hood. This rifle never had a bayonet lug, and its 10 round box magazine is original as well, so it does not rattle the California DOJ’s cage. This is a local civilian owned specimen with very faint operation streaking from the bolt handle contacting the receiver. Light scouring on the front sight hood is probably original to the rifle. We rate it as Excellent, since no more than 5 percent of its surfaces exhibit any use indications; photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
