this model 87A shoots all 3 of the popular 22's...short, long and the 22 long rifle cartridge.
its a nice shooter as-is or you may wish to refinish as a previous owner etched "B200586" on the bottom of the pistol grip and engraved the same "B200586" on the bottom of the trigger guard
the left side of the forearm portion of the stock had a crack and was properly repaired, but is somewhat visable (see pic)if i was going to keep it i would refinish to eliminate these cosmetic blemishes.
