When L.C. Smith, of shotgun fame, could not get wood or steel to build his shotguns, or his Smith-Corona Typewriters, because of WWII shortages, he sought and was awarded a US Government contract to build US Springfield Model 03A3 battle rifles. The Smith-Corona Model 03A3 rifles are known to be the best of that model. It has a bore that is shiny, sharp and strong. I range tested this rifle and it shoots as good as any US battle rifle that I have ever shot, to include shooting US M1 Rifles for years. All markings indicate Pre-D-Day manufacture. The stock bears the "P", Proof mark. Barrel marked RA/Ordnance Bomb/7-43. Own a piece of history that you can shoot! Three day, non firing, right of return.
Buyer pays $34 shipping and insurance to the lower 48 states. California, OKAY! Alaska and Hawaii pay actual, weighed shipping costs.
