Colt factory designation is Model O2991, series O. Type is Browning Design 1911 Government type Single Action semi-automatic pistol. Chambering is .38 Super and .38 ACP calibers interchangeably. Construction is entirely steel, with the exception of the grips, and the anodized trigger and black polymer mainspring housing. Barrel is 5 inch stainless, 6 groove left hand 1:16 rifling. Sight system is 3 dot matte blue stake on front and dovetailed notch style rear that is drift adjustable only for windage.
