Description: What a great gift this would make this Holiday Season, IF you order early enough. I will offer any assistance that you may need. A genuine piece of WWII history made in May. of 1943 at Springfield Armory, in Mass. Besides the marked, "S.A. 6-43" barrel, it has a matching, dated serial number, 1661084 That serial number is clearly printed on the old, original US Arsenal hang tag that is on the rifle. Original to that period parts on the rifle include:Lock Bar rear sights, #6 S.A.Op Rod, #12 S.A. Bolt, #12 S.A. Trigger Group. Low wear reading shows on muzzle and throat.
