This dagger is a tour de force of custom knife making. Jack Levin won 4 Best Knife of Show awards in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 renaissance style autos. I had to look for a long time to find this for my collection, sadly the economy dictates my need to sell. I even tracked Mr. Levin down in 2004 and he said at that time that he made 10 of these and he was not going to make any more, they just took too long! He did make more, but there are only 18 of these in existence. The handle is carved from a solid block of 416 stainless steel. The thumb lever mechanism opens the blade and also deploys a finger guard. The blade is damascus, and the entire knife is highly engraved by Chris Meyer, and inlaid with gold. There are marble carved cameo inlays of a narwhal and a roman style soldier on the handle and 2 sapphires. 7 3/4" long with a 3 1/4" blade. Signed by the artist. Excellent condition, never used or sharpened. I have many more pictures and will be glad to email them.
