It is a legal antique, and no FFL is required unless you live in some benighted state like New Jersey. It has been converted to centerfire operation and shoots quite well. It has a modifed front sight and a replacement peep rear sight. The original sight is not available. I will include in the sale a set of dies for the 10.4x37R centefire round; a custom-made Lee mold to make the bullets; and cases and loaded ammunition, complete with load data. In ballistic performance it's about like a .45-70, suitable for hunting almost any animal in North America. It's a beautiful example of Swiss craftsmanship, all matching, and in excellent shape.
