From one of our Florida collector friends comes this never used basic hunter style holster, marketed during the 1990s by Cabelas. The holster reminds us of the Hunter or Brauer Brothers economy holsters marketed along side Ruger, Colt, Smith & Wesson, and H&R Revolvers during the 1970s and early 1980s. Construction is dark brown tanned genuine leather, with white cord stitching and brass tab snaps. Interior is slick finished, unlined. This holster will accommodate most single or double action revolvers with standard or heavy barrels up to 6 or 6 1/2 inches long, including Smith & Wesson Models 14, 17, 19 and similar; Ruger Blackhawk and Single Six; and Colt Single Action Scout, Peacemaker and New Frontier Revolvers. Several versions of the H&R Revolvers will fit into this holster as well. Note that the retaining strap crosses the trigger guard, not the hammer; so a revolver with oversize grips could be a problem; revolvers for this holster should have magna size service grips or plain walnut like comes on the Ruger Single Six revolvers. This holster bears Cabela’s number 71819 on its reverse side, and it comes in its original Cabela’s bag, issued in the mid 1990s. It shows no signs of ever being used, and even has some attractive green aging toning on some of its brass snaps. Similar holsters recently resurrected by Hunter Company have replacement costs upwards of $75 apiece. This type holster was relatively cheap in the 1970s, under $10 apiece. Nowadays, however, Folks looking for a cheap holster should enter search words Nylon Holster or Kydex Holster on this venue and get them a Chinese Bulldog or plastic holster. This one is genuine American cow. We’re offering the holster in the photos for only $ 49.00. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Grips, Magazines, slings, holsters, scopes, mounts, parts & most any small light items, entire accessory orders only $5.00 total shipping no matter how many a person buys. $5.00 for an entire order, Not $5.00 per item or anything of the sort. $10 Flat Fee on magazine orders to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, and gun parts to PR civilians must ship to an FFL.
