Here are specialized factory grips for one of the most prolifically produced revolvers of the 1970s, the RG23. Parts Manufacturer was Rohm Gesontheim of Germany, assembly and frame production by RG Industries in Miami Florida. Owners should be sure that your revolver is an RG23, with swing out cylinder chambered in .22 Long Rifle Caliber. These Grips will Not Fit an RG10, Will Not Fit an RG14; Will Not Fit an RG24; Will Not Fit the handlebars of a Schwinn Bicycle. They will only fit RG23 revolvers chambered in .22 Long Rifle with a square butt style grip frame and a swing out cylinder. Construction is brown plastic, checkered texture, with RG logo either molded into, or affixed to, the top of each panel. Surface detractions are minimal, only faint scouring and streaking on the butt edges and some dulling to the finish. This set came from an old collection in Northern Illinois. These have never been easy for us to find any time we needed them. Often one of the RG23 revolvers we sold 40 years ago will come wandering in to our store with its grips broken.
