This magnificent Colt Python is just about NRA like new in a charming hand-fitted and homemade walnut box including a cleaning rod and a brush (non-Colt manufacture) along with a Colt user manual. There are no blemishes found whatsoever apart from minor burn marks on the cylinder face (easily removed with #0000 steel or bronze wool) and has the original full walnut factory grips with sharp checkering. I acquired this treasure from a friend whose husband left it behind when he passed away. I don't believe it has ever been fired or cleaned by him. Prior provenance is unknown.
Featuring the famous smooth-as-silk Ted Tedford action, this 6-shot revolver in deep Royal Blue shoots .357 and .38 special cartridges at high muzzle velocity through its vented rib, heavy six-inch barrel. It was made in 1978 at Hartford under the blue dome when quality was still superior. The highly polished and fitted Tedford action enables remarkable accuracy (if you are going to shoot it).
