This listing is for a pre-owned H & R Model 340 chambered in 30-06. This bolt-action rifle is in stunning condition. It shows virtually no signs of wear whatsoever. The walnut stock and fore-stock are excellent with some attractive checkering on both pistol grip and fore-end. There are a couple very minor spots of wear that are hardly noticeable. Original gloss is nice. It is fitted for a sling. This rifle actions perfectly with the bolt working nice and smooth. It has been taken care of over the years. Barrel is in excellent condition, bluing at 99%. There is possibly a little wear on the muzzle. Certainly no scratches or dings. Bore is excellent with no flaws; excellent rifling.
This gun is fitted with a Bushnell Scopechief VI crosshair scope on a Weaver scope mount. Lenses are perfect with no imperfections. $75.00 scope on its own!
