There is mild wearing of the bluing. The stock and forearm retain their finish, with only handling signs/marks. The barrel is bright and shiny with no rust. This shotgun was manufactured in April 1946. It has the military markings stamped on the stock; "W.B." on the right and "FJA" on the left. It also has (2) cartouches stamped on the left. The receiver is stamped "U.S." on the left, along with the serial number and a duck scene. The receiver has a pheasant scene on the right. The barrel has the flaming bomb insignia on top, along with remington arms and patent info. On the left side of the receiver is stamped "CRR" providing a date code of 4/1946.
