Colt factory letter confirms the pistol was delivered to a soap company in PA. with another consecutively number pistol for presentation to the company president. Originally delivered in blue w/case hardened frame, was returned to Colt for "further embellishment". Current configuration shown near 100% nickel finish with few 'handling' marks. Colt original 'Mother of Pearl' grips; High grade (flur de leis) and scroll engraving on case (sides and top),cylinder, ejector rail, handle strap, trigger gaurd, @3" of barrel. Would make a fine addittion to any Colt or cowboy collection; in 90% plus condition overall. Economy and lack of work are forcing my sale, must sacrifice!
