This is not a Rossi, but it was a viable competitor to the several Garcia Rossi revolvers in the 1960s. The last entry we show in our books from Firearms International's Regent series of revolvers is an R 40,000 range number from early 1968. This one's number is relatively low, R 09000 range. We estimate that it was manufactured in 1966. Firearms International, a rather large manufacturing and importing firm in the District of Columbia, survived only a couple years after the 1968 Gun Control Act. This was one of their best products, and we sold hundreds if not thousands of them in the 1960s and early 1970. The Regent was a forceful competitor to the High Standard Sentinel. While the Sentinels sold in the $50 price range, these were high $30s at the time. Appearance, as the photos show, is similar to the High Standard. Barrel, cylinder, and working parts are all blue steel. Where the High Standards were aluminum based alloy frames, this Regent's is more on the order of higher grade pot metal. Where the Sentinel was a 9 shot, this is an 8 shot traditional double- and single-action revolver. Grip is stem type, anticipating the Ruger GP-100 style, inside hard composite grips. Hammer is equipped with a transfer bar device. Action on this particular specimen of the Regent is smooth and crisp, both single and double. Surface detractions are minimal, whitening contact on the cylinder edges and some of its flutes. The Regent was, and this one still is, a good quality revolver. We rate this one as Very Good, close to excellent, since no more than 10 to 15 percent of its finish is affected by age or surface wear. Photos, at any rate, should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. We're offering it for only $ 239.95.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
