We are offering for sale a vintage Dixie Gun Works .36 caliber Black Powder Rifle. The lock plate is marked “Maslin / Warrented” .
44” octagon barrel is in good condition. The surface shows signs of aging; Oxidation present. Bore appears to be generally clean with a very good muzzle. Front brass blade sigh; rear fixed notch sight. As mentioned previously the Lock Plate is marked “Masline” and “Warrented”; It is nicely engraved and shows signs of patina. Hammer works properly; Cocks back and holds; Snaps forward with excellent force. Nipple is very good and clean. The stock is beautiful! It remains in very good+ condition showing no signs of breaks or cracks; Nice carved cheek rest. Crescent butt plate. Ramrod intact and present.
