These revolvers are Ruger Blackhawk Convertibles that were a Special Configuration offered by Buckeye Sports in two limited production runs. In 1989 the .32 Caliber convertible was first offered, it shipped with a cylinder chambered for .32-20 Win. and one for .32 H&R Magnum. If you purchased the .32 Caliber revolver you were offered by Buckeye the following year the chance to purchase a .38-40 Win., 10mm AUTO convertible. The serial numbers are paired together and therefor make a matched set.
.32 Caliber - 610-03881
.38-40 / 10mm - 611-03881
The Ruger® New Model Blackhawk® is the most advanced single-action revolver ever made. While retaining the solid frame, feel and comfortable grip of the classic single-actions, they feature Ruger’s patented transfer bar ignition system with loading gate interlock, an all-coil spring mechanism, and frame-mounted firing pin.
These revolvers are unfired since they left the factory and it would appear the extra cylinders were never installed. Condition on both is 99%, no rust or major marks of any kind. Paperwork appears to be missing from the .38-40/10mm. Pictures show everything that is included with this set.
