The Mossberg 590A1 and Special Purpose Shotguns have long established themselves as a staple in the small arms arsenals of our soldiers, sailors, and police officers. The weather-resistant Parkerized finish, too, has always been a favorite of our Gulf Coast enforcers in particular. Here is Mossberg’s 590A1 Military shotgun in its tactical format: 3 inch chamber, 18 inch Cylinder Bore heavy barrel; Winged Aperture or Ghost Ring rear sight with OSHA Red Front Sight Blade; and traditional serrated corn-cob style synthetic forend. Bringing up the rear is a factory synthetic buttstock with 1 inch thick pliable recoil pad. Construction is steel heavy wall barrel, magazine tube, and internal parts with lightweight alloy receiver and military spec trigger group housing. All steel surfaces are finished with Mossberg’s weather- and salt-water resistant GI military parkerized finish; and the receiver is matte anodized. The time-honored 590 action has top tang, southpaw-friendly safety and double steel action bars. Capacity is 5 + 1 on 2 3/4 inch shells, or 4 + 1 on 3 inch magnums; like the competitor 870, however, the magazine tube will accept two shot or larger magazine extensions, and easily convert up to 7+1 capacity. Weight empty is 7 pounds 3 ounces. This specimen is one of Mossberg’s showgirls, what we call a factory demo. It has never been out of Mossberg corporate custody until we got it. Surface detractions are minimal, principally faint scouring and streaking on the receiver sides and faint amounts of operation buffing on the slide arms and magazine tube. We rate it as Excellent, since no more than 10 percent of its surfaces have been affected, at least in our estimation. Photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. This 590 comes in a factory box with instruction manual and Mossberg cable lock, as well as a factory six month warranty. Replacement pricing on any of the 590A1s is $600 apiece or more in our area. Factory SKU is 51517, on sale on Mossberg’s home site for $578.00. We’re offering this one, however, for only $ 419.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of New York City, or any jurisdiction where pump shotguns with 6 round magazine capacity are restricted to Law Enforcement Only.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
