Here is a very attractive set of factory Smith & Wesson grips to fit any K or L frame revolver with a square butt grip frame. They come to us from their exclusive owner, one of our local distinguished veterans and marksmen who won them on a 586 in a pistol match, and then immediately installed Hogues and retired these without even firing them. If the shopper is not clear on the difference between round and square, please see the attached photo. K and L frame designation, of course, includes models 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 64, 65, 66, 67, 581, 586, 681, and 686. Since we do not know of any Air Lite revolvers with square butt, those 386 and similar variants are out of the picture here, these won’t work for them. Left grip panel has the speedloader cut, introduced in the mid 1970s. The wood itself is authentic Goncalo Alves, and these grips, from their markings, left Springfield Massachusetts in September of 1985. Surface detractions are negligible, only finish weakness on the butt edge of the right panel, and that is original to the grips anyway. We rate this set as Excellent / Unfired, perhaps Near Mint, 95 to 98 percent vicinity.
