It is an over under. The 22 barrel is on top of the 410. Accepts up to 3 inch shot shells. It's an older gun. I'm not sure of the exact age. I've taken it squirrel hunting and it's a great time. The wood stock and front stock are stocks are tight with no cracks. The wood does have some surface wear from the previous owner but still looks nice. Not imaculate, but a nice looking gun. The break action works smooth and it locks back closed with a pleasant click. The button selector for firing the different barrels works perfectly. There is just something about a nice, old, usable and effective gun like this that makes being out in the field a spiritual activity. A connection with times of old. Thanks for looking.
