Hard to find in this condition. This is a Winchester Model 55 single-shot rifle. Chambered for .22 S, L, and LR, is an "automatic single-shot"...that is to say that after cocking, a single cartridge is hand loaded through the top port and upon firing the empty case is ejected through the bottom port and the action is re-cocked. When another shell is pushed down through the gate for loading, the safety automatically resets. The barrel measures 21-3/4" in length and is fitted with iron sights. Overall conditions is quite nice and this rifle has not been fired all that much. Rate gun at 97-98% with the most minor of handling marks from safe storage – see photos. The mechanics are in good working order and the bore is excellent. These were made in somewhat limited numbers from 1...a strange concept that was probably doomed from the start...but an interesting and collectible Winchester rifle. +Insured S&H of $35.00 to your local FFL dealer for transfer.
