The Mossberg 930 Semi Auto shotgun has proven its metal now for over a decade. Here is the deer slug barrel for the 930. Barrel Manufacturer is O.F. Mossberg of Torreon, Mexico, the facility where most of the company’s barrels have been made for the past 25 years. Importer and Warrantor is O.F. Mossberg of Eagle Pass, TX. Construction is entirely steel, except for the alloy rear sight. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably. Finish is matte blue. Sight system is welded base, dovetailed brass beaded steel blade front, with factory Williams two piece 700 type, windage and elevation adjustable rear. Bore is six groove right hand 1:36 rifled, specifically for lead slug hunting. It will digest most any kind of shot, since the muzzle diameter is .720 Improved Cylinder; the rifling, however, will adversely affect the shot pattern. This barrel will fit any Mossberg model 930 shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. It will Not fit a Mossberg 935; will Not fit a Remington 11-87; will Not fit the dump lever of a 1947 John Deere Manure spreader. It will only fit Mossberg 930 shotguns in 12 gauge. This barrel and its mates came to us in brand new model 930 combo guns, and we sold the shotguns with their field barrels separately.
