From our favorite medical person in all of Oklahoma comes this pristine mid sized Taurus Model M-17-C chambered in the powerhouse .17 Hornady Magnum Rifle caliber. Frame size approximates Smith & Wesson’s J frame series revolvers, but with a full lug all blue steel heavy 4 inch barrel with serrated black ramp front sight and windage and elevation adjustable black blade rear sight. Construction is all steel, in the classic Taurus bright blue finish with gold toned lettering. Trigger and hammer are case hardened steel, .325 smooth face combat trigger with short spur .357 semi-target hammer that sports Taurus’s inconspicuous internal lock. Weight empty is a well balanced 29 1/2 ounces. Capacity is 8 rounds of .17 HMR caliber ammunition; action type is traditional single- and double action revolver. Grips are factory textured soft rubber combat style. Taurus has long discontinued all its .17 revolvers with the exception of the pricey stainless Tracker, with a replacement pricing upwards of $500, and not easy to find even at that. We’re offering this excellent blue steel Taurus M17C, however, in its original box with its manual, warranty card, and both keys for its internal lock, for only $ 319.95.
