You are looking at "Betsy", a stainless Goverment Model 1911 (a/k/a Model 80) by Colt, the original 1911 builder. Polished stainless flats, brushed round surfaces (slide top, bottom of dust cover). Purchased at a gun show used; built circa 1984. MODIFICATIONS: (1) Wilson Combat match grade barrel and EGW bushing installed 2007 by Northern Virginia Gun Works (American Pistolsmith Guild awardee) for increased accuracy. (2) Herrett's slim Cocobolo grips + black hex bushing screws. Provides better grip and improved looks. (3) Flat mainspring housing with lanyard installed replacing cheesy factory nylon MH (included). (4) Skateboard grip tape ("poor man's checkering") is easily removed. (5) MGW three-dot sights (no tritium): significant improvement in aiming over factory sights. EXTRAS: Colt factory magazine, Colt box and manual, original black wood Colt medallion grips, grip bushings, screws, and nylon arched mainspring housing.
