Our craftsmen have transformed the renowned Yugoslavian SKS rifle (7.62x39mm) into a modern day tactical weapon. The YUGO Model 59/66 rifle features a milled receiver, threaded barrel, and milled trigger group. These rifles have two very unique and collectible features; a flip up grenade sight plus a gas cut-off button. Barrel length is 20.5 inches (24” including the muzzle break). They have earned a reputation for being both accurate and reliable. Prices for Yugo SK S rifles of this quality have tripled in the past six years because there are a limited number of them available. We transform them from an original YUGO Model 59/66 rifle (used-very good condition); they are completely disassembled, cleaned, and the metal is prepped with a special abrasive blasting media. We then apply GUN-KOTE™, one of the finest metal coatings and finishes available! GUN-KOTE™ is far superior to a parkerized, blued, or air cured finish. The GUN-KOTE™ satin matte black premium finish helps protect metal parts from rust, corrosion, and scratches with a beautiful finish that will wear for years and keep your custom rifle looking like new. GUN-KOTE provides a durable finish that will not break down, peel or dissolve. In fact, once it is applied and heat set, the only way to remove GUN-KOTE is to use abrasive blasting. It is resistant to all known gun solvents and thinners. GUN-KOTE™ is a highly specialized hard abrasion resistant coating that meets all military and aerospace specifications for protective coatings. GUN-KOTE™ is formulated to provide excellent impact resistance, lubricity (meets military dry firing specifications), heat dissipation, chemical resistance, corrosion protection, durability, and scratch resistance. GUN-KOTE™ was specified by the U.S. Military for use on SOCOM Special Sniper Weapons (SPR’s) in 2003. The TAPCO Intrafuse stock system transforms the original into a tactical semi-auto rifle, adding all of the required US compliance parts. It is a military grade composite material, lightweight & weatherproof; features a collapsible butt stock with 6 positions, upgraded gas tube handguard with rail, and SAW pistol grip. The lower handguard features a Picatinny/Weaver rail for mounting just about any accessory. The BEC 3x9 variable power riflescope with a large 42mm lens, ultra compact design-only 9" long, lighted P4 sniper style range-finding reticule, 7 illumination levels, 1/4" MOA adjustments, matte black finish, 1" tube diameter, fog-shock-waterproof, zip focus, plus optional .223 BDC. AccuShot 1” rings are included for solid scope mounting. The UTG Covert model combat grade machined aluminum vertical foregrip is just 3½ inches long & weighs only 3 ounces. It features a quick-detach locking nut with a smart end cap; waterproof O-ring seal & storage compartment.
