This Ballard rifle was the second proto type built by Red Willow Tool and Armory of Montana (they moved to Cody Wyoming and changed the name to the Ballard Rifle Company) was manufactured in 1991. serial # is capital RWA over capital XX (see photo) it is chambered in 32-40, it has a heavy 24" 1/2 octogon 1/2 round barrel. This rifle weighs approximately 10 pounds 3 ounces. I will include with this rifle a NIB set of RCBS reloading dies plus 1 box of factory and i box of reloaded ammunition. I purchased this rifle from the man who did all the hand fitting on the actions (they were milled from a solid piece of stock) back in the early days of the company. I had not intended to part with this very unique rifle but must due to declining health.
