Here is an attractive and rare knife, the Colt Serengeti Skinner manufactured in limited quantities under Colt License by United Cutlery in Japan, in 1995 only. This knife’s Chinese descendant is presently floating in limited quantities, but those are only worth $5 to $10 apiece in our not-so-humble opinion. This Japanese Serengeti’s blade, as the photos show, is very distinctive for its skinner / guthook configuration, and at its widest point measures 2 inches in width. Overall length is 10 inches, and construction is one piece 440 C Stainless Surgical grade steel with laminated wood handles and nickel plated pommel. Blade proper measures 4 3/4 inches from point to pommel. This knife is in its original box with its Colt Logo leather scabbard and protective cardboard blade sheath. This knife comes to us from a Mississippi Delta collector, and it has never been used or sharpened, mint in the box and we detect no surface scouring or detractions. Manufacturer’s model number CT-7 is stamped on the reverse tang. We’re offering this fine Japanese manufactured Colt for only $ 139.95. We do not sell knives to civilians under 21 years of age.
