Up for sale is a barely used, EXCELLENT CONDITION, extremely rare FN Herstal Belgium, Model - Five seveN IOM Prototype Pistol, Caliber - 5.7x28mm, Action - Delayed blowback, semi automatic. LOW SERIAL # 386100056 (see pics). There were less than 200 IOM Prototype pistols made!!! The IOM prototype is the smallest production of any model and the rarest of all; hence the high price. This IOM Prototype version of the Five seveN predates the IOM and the current USG versions and is a collector’s item due to it being a piece of FN history. This rare version of the FN 5.7 IOM prototype pistol was a very small run of modified Tacticals that were made for the US import trials. It did NOT come with a letter as it was pre-IOM and these were not made for sale to anyone (Law Enforcement, Government Agencies, Military, nor the public). After the trial they were given to some special people!!! This is not the standard current USG civilian version or even the later IOM version with m1913 rail. This is the IOM Prototype model with rounded trigger guard. The Five-seveN IOM Prototype features Single Action trigger with short and light trigger pull and ambidextrous safety switch, located on the frame above the trigger, and the low profile adjustable rear sight, as the Tacticals had fixed sights. Also Includes: Original Hard Case (light scuff marks), Operator's Instructions Manual, FNH Pistol Lock, Sight tool/screwdriver, Factory Cleaning Kit, (1) 10 round Magazine (not shown), (2) 20 round Magazines, and (2) SEALED Boxes SS192 Ammo (yes, I said SS192 - Discontinued and very hard to find 5.7 x 28 Ammo).
