Description: 1 S&W Model 360-1 .357 Magnum 3" Scandium Air-Lite 5 Shot J-Frame Revolver. Original owner. Incredible 13 ounces unloaded. Rare 3" Pro-Ported barrel with perfect muzzle and bore. Never dropped or abused. Wolff Trigger Spring Kit (gunsmith installed) produces lighter trigger pull effort. Less than 300 rounds fired. Adjustable rear sight. Ramped front sight with XS 24/7 Tritium 'Big Dot'(gunsmith installed). Factory modern locking trigger mechanism with 2 keys. Hogue Laminated Coco-Bolo grips, rubber Bantam grips and factory rubber grips. Bianchi Black Widow leather holster and Bianchi Ranger black nylon ankle holster. Factory lockable box, gun lock and manual. The box and manual are NOT the originals. I used this as my on-duty ankle gun and occaisional off-duty carry piece in a waist gun pouch. My department finally approved the Glock 26 as a back-up and off-duty piece so I have gone to that. This little gun is so light and small that you hardly notice that you have it on; the first time I picked it up I could've sworn it was a toy...you have to actually hold it to appreciate how light it really is. It is perfect for CCW, as a back-up ankle gun or as a trail gun, and it packs the punch of the .357 Magnum if you choose to load it with them. It also shoots fine with .38 Special loads and those are what I primarily used for practicing. The rumors are true; shooting this with the full-power .357 loads is not a plesant experience. The porting helps significantly, however it is still a handful. The prudent individual would be better served to practice with the .38's, only shoot enough of the .357's to verify the point of impact with a specific round, then keep it loaded with the .357's as the defensive load. The Laminated grips are what I utilized while wearing it on my ankle while on-duty, as I found that both of the rubber grips would tend to hang up a bit on my pant leg when accessing the gun and slow it's presentation somewhat. There is some slight comestic blemishing in a few areas due to the lousy finish S&W unfortunately chose to use on these models, but is not an issue in terms of any type of corrosion as the entire revolver will not corrode due to the Scandium Aluminum material it was manufactured with. As you can see by the photo's, the blemishing is not glaring; you actually kind of have to look for it, but none the less it is present therefore I am declaring it. The cylinder and barrel liner are made of stainless steel and the cylider has a 'dark' look to it. The trigger and hammer are 'case colored' giving the gun an usually attractive appearence; all of the finishes on the revolver are as they came from the factory. The only modifications performed were the barrel porting and the Wolff springs and Tritium sight installation, which were all done by the same gunsmith. S&W implores one to never 'scrub completely clean' these Scandium revolvers, as doing so WILL eventually damage the structural integrity of the material it is made from. Therefore this gun may not appear 100% 'clean' in these photo's; however I have always cleaned it the same day as I fired it and to S&W's recommandations. Sold as a package only (no splitting) as I will have no use any longer for the accesories without the revolver. These Scandium guns are typically selling for $700-$1000+, depending; this one is a .357 Magnum, it's unusual, it's ported, it has the Tritium dot and it includes accesories that you would probably want to buy anyway, all for less than $500 including shipping. Get a speed-loader or two and your ammo & you're all set. I will accept a major money order or a personal check if it can be cashed within a branch of that institution within South Florida. It is your responsibility to verify and comply with any and all Federal, State and Local laws regarding the ownership and/or possesion of the revolver and/or it's accesories. I am a police officer in South Florida, no 'shenannigan's' please. ***SEE SHIPPING TERMS***
