This firearm has no conventional sites, instead it has a channel running the length of the slide for siting. Colt had a recent recall on these firearms to retrofit better parts. Replaced were, slide lock safety, recoil spring guide pad, and outer recoil spring. This new spring allows either end to be inserted into the recoil bushing. A small flag has been stamped on the bottom right side of the trigger guard to confirm the retrofit. Also included is the official letter from Colt explaining the retrofit. Colt also still urges dealers and owners to check their site or contact them in regards to firearms that still need this upgrade.
