The Stainless Smith & Wesson 5900 magazine is not included; this pistol comes with its original factory Daewoo Magazine, but the Smith & Wesson mags work just fine, and we have them available at $22.00 per. Our industry knows from a small sampling of a couple of firearms the true genius of the South Korean Engineers with the well known Daewoo corporation, South Korea’s premiere small arms and auto manufacturer. These fine little pistols were imported first by the Harrisburg PA firms KBI and First Shot; then later in very limited quanities by Century Arms. Photo shows one of only a handful of Daewoo DP-51 pistols we were able to get. These fine little weapons were confiscated by the Mishteret Y’Israel, the distinguished Jerusalem Police Department, and for a few years they have been in the evidence rooms of that distinguished department. Importer marks PW Arms Redmond WA is neatly stamped on the left forward side of the frame. These pistols are distinctive in their Tri-Action configuration, where the operator can simply push the hammer forward on safe, and the pistol is ready to fire with a surprisingly short and smooth double action pull. It also operates on traditional double action mode, where the trigger can operate the hammer smoothly enough, but with more pressure, from a resting position. Safety is ambidextrous, frame-mounted and the DP-51 is capable of cocked-and-locked position as well. This is one of the world’s finest pistols, still ahead of its time; and in its K-5 configuration, it is the official sidearm of South Korean Military and Police, as they protect their citizens and our allies from their nutty neighbors. One of the most appealing things about this pistol is its capability of operating with the plentiful 5906 / 5900 type Smith & Wesson magazines, which barely protrude past the lanyard loop as the photos show. The Smith & Wesson magazine is not included, but we have plenty of them readily available in capacities ranging from 10 rounds to 15 rounds. This DP 51 has an anodized alloy frame and matte blue slide, much like its Smith & Wesson 5900 and 6900 cousins. Note the discoloration on the factory logo lettering on the left side of its slide; other than that, surface detractions are minimal, only edge whitening. We rate it as Very Good, since no more than 15 percent of its finish is affected by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice so that our distinguished shoppers can judge finish grade for themselves. Finish is matte blue steel slide with anodized alloy frame. Weight empty is 28 3/4 ounces, with a center of gravity behind the .390 Smooth Faced combat trigger. Grip frame is serrated fore and aft, with original polymer grip panels. Barrel measures exactly 4 inches, hard chrome plated with conventional rifling and a configuration very akin to the 5900 Series Smith & Wessons. Full length guide rod is steel. Magazine release is set for Right Hand Shooters, but is readily reversible for Southpaws. Original magazine capacity is 13 round, 13 + 1, but Smith & Wesson extended capacity magazines are readily available. This pistol is Excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. We estimate it has been fired fewer than 1000 rounds. We’re offering the Daewood DP-51 in the photo for only $ 339.00. Not transferable to civilians in California, District of Colombia, or Massachusetts. For civilian buyers in jurisdictions where 13 round magazines are restricted, we will sub either a Mec-Gar or factory Smith & Wesson 10 Shot magazine. Includes Chicago, New York, and Puerto Rico.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
