Description: Parker GH 28 Gauge sn135718 SKEET - RESTORED TO NEW BY DEL GREGO

The Parker 28ga. is a very sought after gun. Few were made in any grade and the vintage American double gun enthusiasts love the 28ga. for hunting and clays. When looking at GH grade Parkers, there were only 130 28ga. guns made in all configurations, only 25 in Skeet configuration. Anybody that wants a factory original GHE Skeet in 28ga. will have to pay premium dollars in a big way, if they were lucky enough to ever find one for sale. Hence the upgraded guns we see. This gun originated as a Parker VH 28ga. gun in 1906, before skeet was invented. At some point it was upgraded to its present status by the famed Del Grego and Sons shop who specializes in Parker repair and upgrade. Beautifully engraved and finished and set up perfectly for skeet or close upland game, it has Skeet in/Skeet out chokes, high stock dimensions, nicley figured English stock with checkered butt, beavertail forend, and single non-selective trigger. Upgraded or not, the Parker 28ga. will always be a gun with strong demand, and with the accelerated growth of vintage clays games and upland hunting, this is a gun you can use and enjoy as it grows in value.
