The following is a .12 Ga Stevens Arms & Tool Co. Model 520 pump action shotgun (20 inch barrel). This item features a low serial number and the “suicide style” safety located within the trigger guard. I honestly cannot tell what is the original bluing and what is simply patina. The stock and forend of this firearm is in great shape with only a few minor dents and dings. This item has some light pitting on the receiver in some spots as well as a small stress crack where the buttstock meets the receiver, otherwise this item is in great overall shape. This is one of the better examples of the Model 520 that I have seen over the years, as you may know the U.S. Military utilized this 520 platform and converted many of them to trench guns. Sadly, this item does not have any U.S. military flaming bomb proof marks. I have not personally shot this firearm, however the mechanics (including the firing pin) appear to be in great condition. However, I would strongly recommend that it be taken to a gunsmith to insure that it is indeed safe to shoot. This is a very nice older firearm that would make a great addition to any collection. Will trade for a NAA revolver! Please feel free to contact me for additional images of the firearm. I have done my very best to represent this item to the best of my abilities. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or comments! Thanks for looking!
