Importer and Warrantor is American Tactical Imports formerly of Rochester, New York, but now in Summerville, South Carolina. Construction is all 4140 steel, with cut checkered Filipino Mahogany grips. Barrel is 5 inch with six groove left hand 1:16 rifling. Return system is basic link type with spring and cap. Slide is round topped with serrated rear laterals. Sights are half moon GI type stake on blade front, with dovetailed black steel rear that is drift adjustable only for windage. Safety system is standard left side / right hand shooter main safety with standard GI grip safety. This M1911 does not have any firing pin safety. Trigger is .245 arched serrated face, with matching traditional wide .460 checkered serration hammer. Photo specimen pulled two stage at 5 pounds with negligible felt creep and minimal to moderate overtravel.
