The original Colt grips have been replaced by Fitwell brown plastic grips that fit nice and tight, with no chips or cracks. The bluing on the frame is fading to a gray patina with a couple pits on each side. I would rate this as a shooter. The timing and lockup seems to be correct. The crane has been replaced at some time in the past, but it was replaced with one from the same year of manufacture and works perfectly.
