It is marked Model Stag-15 CAL 5.56MM. I have shot only 250 rounds of new PMC .223 cal. 55grain ammo through the gun at the rate of 50 rounds per range session. I shoot indoors ( I live in Southern CA)and cleaned the gun per the manufacturers recommendations after each range session. My daughter is getting married in Hawaii....need I say more. Included with the gun is a Vortex Strike Fire red dot model(SFRD-AR15)which switches from a red to green dot. Also included is an extra-high ring mount for flat top AR's which makes the red dot coincident with the Model 8's back-up Diamondhead adjustable iron sights.
