Here in the rural South, we sometimes conduct what we call an Ugly Man Contest, where the ugliest man wins a prize. Here is the hands down winner for the Ugly Gun Contest. Manufacturer is Haskell Mfg. Co., of Lima, OH, affiliate of MKS Supply, the parent company of Hi-Point Firearms. Type is striker fired, blowback action semi automatic pistol. Construction is zinc alloy pot metal slide and barrel chamber shroud in a polymer grip frame with steel barrel and some steel internal parts. Grips are contoured polymer, secured by steel Phillips screws. Model is JHP45 or 34510. Chambering is .45 ACP caliber, and the steel bodied factory issue magazine holds 9 rounds, 9 + 1 total capacity. Hi-Points are always furnished with One magazine. Barrel measures 4 1/2 inches, six groove right hand twist. Sights are frame integral serrated rib, with integral red bar front sight and removable polymer, windage and elevation adjustable red dot rear. Note that a replacement Ghost Ring aperture rear sight is also included. Frame has an integral single slot Picatinny type rail. Trigger is .240 skeleton type smooth faced polymer combat. Weight empty is 35 ounces, about the same as a 1911 Government model pistol. Center of gravity is just forward of the magazine release. Trigger pull is 10 pound vicinity with an estimated 3/8 inch of travel during the pull process. This specimen comes to us from light use with its exclusive consumer owner. It is in its original box with Lock, replacement Ghost Ring Sight, and instruction manual that includes Statement of Warranty. Since this JHP45 is under factory warranty, we will Not accept a return. Surface detractions are negligible; under side frame scouring is from the original manufacturing process. This is not a slick made gun like a Smith & Wesson or Sig. We estimate this pistol has been fired fewer than 50 times, if that many. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. Replacement pricing on this pistol is well over $200 in our area. We’re offering the Hi-Point JHP45 in the photos for only $ 169.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of California, District of Colombia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, or any jurisdiction with a melt law that affects handguns. Maryland Roster approved as of 7/1/14; South Carolina repealed its 30 year old melt law in 2012.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
