The Black Widow AK47© side folding tactical rifle (7.62x39mm) is custom built “one-at-a-time” in the USA by AMERICAN CRAFTSMEN! These are definitely NOT a mass produced “assembly line” rifle! We start with GUN-KOTE™, the premier firearms metal coating & finish. This $180 thermal cured finish sets our custom Black Widow AK47© rifles apart from the very beginning. GUN-KOTE™ is far superior to parkerized, blued, or air dry “paint finishes” in both durability and performance. It was first specified by the U.S. Military for use on SOCOM Special Sniper Weapons (SPR’s) in 2003. GUN-KOTE™ satin matte black finish protects metal parts from rust, corrosion, & scratches and will not break down, peel or dissolve. In fact, once applied and thermal-cured, the only way to remove it is through abrasive blasting. GUN-KOTE™ is resistant to all known gun solvents, oils, and thinners. GUN-KOTE™ is a highly specialized, hard, abrasion resistant coating that meets ALL MILITARY SPECIFICATIONS for protective metal coatings. GUN-KOTE™ is formulated to provide excellent impact resistance, lubricity (meets military dry firing specs), heat dissipation, chemical resistance, corrosion protection, durability, and scratch resistance. It is specially formulated for salt corrosion protection and meets the US Military requirements for "Resistant to Chemicals". GUN-KOTE™ has outstanding heat dissipating qualities, outstanding temperature variation durability (+800 degrees F to -300 degrees F), and outstanding lubrication qualities. We precision flute the barrel; only Black Widow AK47 rifles have this unique feature! Barrel fluting creates parallel spines that increase rigidity for improved accuracy. Fluting also helps dissipate heat faster and lightens overall weight. The side folding stock is the made from steel- super strong and ultra-reliable. It locks open, folds quickly, and allows for the most compact design- just 27 inches OAL when folded! The USA manufactured receiver is made from 4130 alloy steel, heat treated to a hardness of 40 on the Rockwell “C” scale. The mag well, pin holes, and rails are all precision manufactured to exacting mil-specs. We add a custom machined steel side-rail to the left side of the receiver providing an option to mount variable power scopes. The USA mfg. G2 trigger group delivers a crisp 3-4 lb. trigger pull. The RAZR™ flash suppressor/break is designed for tactical entry application; made from heat treated steel alloy, it is rugged and durable. The UTG® PRO quad-rail system is made in the USA from aircraft grade aluminum. It has four full length mil-spec picatinny rails for accessories, and protective snap on black rubber rail guards. The Israeli military pistol grip has ergonomic finger grooves and a hinged bottom plate that opens for convenient storage, including a battery caddy that holds two CR123A batteries. The SunOptics combination taclight/red laser has a blinding 250 lumen tactical LED light plus an adjustable red laser. Choose from three settings; light only, light/laser, or laser only. The red laser has precision windage and elevation adjustments. This bad boy lights up the night, both inside and outside- plus allows instant target acquisition with the red laser system! The ATI micro reflex sight features an automatic light sensor (no fumbling with an on/off switch), highly visible green dot, full windage/elevation adjustments, and weighs just 2.2 ounces! The vertical foregrip is made from lightweight polymer (just 3 ounces) and folds flat under the bottom rail. The Uncle Mikes LE tactical rifle case has five external mag pockets, two accessory pockets, foam padding, carry handle and a shoulder strap.
