Description: Here is one of the best brainchildren John Moses Browning concocted, follower to the Remington 31 shotgun of Browning design. This is, of course, the classic Ithaca Featherlight slide action, steel frame lightweight shotgun, the Model 37. This is a local shotgun from our area, and has only undergone normal use for several years. Serial Number is 10404xx, so it was manufactured in 1968. It has the later Beavertail fluted walnut forend, with excellent grain pattern match to the buttstock. Barrel length is 30 inch Full Choke. The bead sight is the original Hi-Viz sight, the Ithaca Ray-Bar. Muzzle constriction is a very tight .680. This shotgun shows carry wear mostly in its midsection, bottom of the magazine tube, receiver, and trigger guard, with glossy finish loss on the sharper rear edge areas of the forend and pistol grip area of the buttstock. The matte surfaces on top of the receiver show moderate whitening, but finish is strong throughout, both on the wood and on the metal. Length of pull is 13 5/8 inches with a period brown Pachmayr White Line Recoil Pad professionally fitted. We rate this shotgun as Very Good finishwise, since 80 percent of its original finish is intact by our estimate. Photos should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. There is one area on the buttstock pistol grip, left underside adjacent to the trigger guard, that shows faint buckling for 1/2 inch or so, and a 1/4 inch fault line on the left side. Otherwise, there are no signs of any cracking whatsoever. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. We're offering this attractive, serviceable, and collectable Ithaca 37 Full Choke 30 inch 12 gauge from President Nixon's election year for only $ 389.95 Note that we have a 26 inch Improved Cylinder Plain Ray-Bar barrel for this shotgun available at press time for $139.95, also listed separately on Guns America.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
