I am selling my Eaben Arthur Brown made, falling block style, 97D rifle. The rifle is chambered in 6.5BRM caliber. This is a wildcat cartridge meaning you can't go to a sporting goods store and buy loaded ammunition for this rifle. But, if you have ever reloaded any ammunition at all, this is a piece of cake. It uses 30-30 brass that has been sized once through a provided "30 Waters" caliber die and then once through the provided "6.5BRM" die.
I have had many loads with target type VLD bullets that will put them in one ragged hole at 100 yds. My hunting load, a 140g Nosler Partition will also shoot well under moa but not quite as tight as the target rounds.
The trigger comes from the factory just as you would suspect any other custom made rifle. Breaks like glass, right at about 3 lbs. with no creep or overtravel. Very easy to shoot well with this trigger.
I am not a gun dealer, I am just a guy who has used GunsAmerica a few times over the years and discovered that it is a fairly safe way to both buy and sell guns. I bought this rifle new from EABCO about six years ago. I paid $1000.00 plus shipping. I have put about 300 rds through it, mostly load development and target practice. I have put at least six deer on the ground with it to date and it will be missed once it is gone.
I have included pictures and can tell you that the rifle is like new. (Thew scope in the pictures is not included.) There are no scratches, rust, dings or dents. The scope mount came with the rifle. The scope and rings are NOT included in the price. This sale is for the rifle and the reloading items mentioned below ONLY!
Whoever buys the rifle will get the 30 Waters, 6.5BRM dies and a bunch of once fired brass. The shipping cost will be whatever it costs me to ship it, no handling charges or any of that baloney. I may consider a partial trade for a high end rifle or scope, we'll discuss it! (By partial I mean that I may have to pony up some cash to make it a fair deal.)
GunsAmerica rules preclude me from including my e-mail address or phone number here but I know that I always like to talk to the guy when buying a gun and don't suspect many of you are any different. If you are interested, you can send me a message via GA and you can include your e-mail or a phone number and I will call you back as soon as possible.
Don't buy this rifle if you have any unanswered questions about it or if you're not sure what it is or how it works. I am more than happy to speak to anyone on the phone or via email explaining all there is to know about this rifle before they buy it. With good communications, all parties involved will have an enjoyable transaction.
I don't have time to deal with returns due to miscommunications. I absolutely guarentee that this rifle is exactly as described and will shoot as described. The buyer will pay the cost of shipping to include insurance. It will be professionally packaged and shipped promptly upon receipt of total payment. If the buyer is disatisfied with the rifle due to an error in my description or is not as described, I will gladly provide a total refund. The cost of return shipping falls upon the buyer.
This rifle is also for sale locally and could be sold at any time. I will try to cancel the sale here if and when that happens. Tons of information available about this rifle at EABCO.com
Once you decide you want the rifle I will need you to send me the address of your FFL dealer so I can estimate the cost of shipping and insurance. I will only charge the actual cost. No handling charges or any of that other baloney.
Trades Accepted: No
Private sale/individual, rifle must be sent to licensed FFL holder.
