Here is Mossberg's military variant of the 590, the 590 A1 Persuader. Chambering is for 2 3/4 inch or 3 inch shells; barrel is heavy barrel 20 inch cylinder bore; 8+1 capacity magazine tube with mating barrel lug; all-weather Speed Feed synthetic stock and forend with swivel studs included, and conventional brass bead sight. The parkerized finish is even more durable than the much-heralded Marinecoat. This is the traditional Mossberg 590 action with tang safety, a definite plus for left-handed shooters and even a faster surer safety for stressful situations. Here is what Mossberg says about this Military & Police configured flagship 590: The Mossberg 590 shotgun is the pump action shotgun you can count on. They have the credentials and track record to prove it. The Mossberg military 590 model is the only pump action shotguns ever to pass all stringent U.S. Military MilSpec-3443 standards. Featuring parkerized finish, extended magazine capacity, 3" chamber and thumb safety. Accessory Lug is integral, and this may not be legal for civilians in some jurisdictions such as California or New York. Other specs are 7 pounds empty; overall length 41 1/2 inches; double slide bar for longevity under protracted or adverse firing conditions. These shotguns are not easy to come by, of course. This one comes to us from one of our friends in the Aloha State. Its surface detractions only amount to light occasional scuffing on the metal, and no more than 10 percent of its total surface is affected. The durable finish is still intact throughout. We rate it as Excellent finishwise, but photos should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore has a rough textured appearance inside, not pitted at all, but we believe its texture to be original to this shotgun. Chamber and mechanism are bright, clean, and excellent. This shotgun has been fired very little, probably fewer than 100 rounds total, attest the faint brass streaking on the shell carrier. Replacement pricing on these in our area, if a person can even find one, is $600 apiece or more. We're offering the 590 Persuader in the photo, however, for only $379.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
